Please note:
- We use Asian sizing. If you have large quads, are looking for a more comfortable fit, or are used to western sizing, consider going up a size.
- Men looking for a shorter racing short can consider the ladies version. It works surprisingly well and looks sharp too. Ladies looking for a longer short can consider the men's version. We've had some good feedback!
- Pull your Sherpas over your belly button (see below - grandpa style!), tie the drawstring tight, then pull it down over your hips for minimum bounce. Inside and outside slits allow it to be tied inside or outside the waistband.

I bought these a few months ago after getting frustrated with the lack of carrying space in my running shorts during summer, when I didn't want to carry a running belt just for a phone or jam loads of gels in a tiny pocket with my keys. After training with these on some long runs as part of my marathon prep, I happily ran up to 34k and eventually the 2025 Rotorua marathon: 1 litre of electrolytes and gels and phone no problem. They're crucial kit for this years trail ultras.
Adding another colorway to the collection
These shorts are the best running shorts with storage. They need to sit a little high so if you have a bit of a tummy they can feel a touch odd as the waistband is quite wide. Because they are so thin and light they do perish, especially where your sweaty thighs grind them away. Probably can’t have light, stretchy and super tough.
